Program comcast remote to dvd player

It is my understanding the xfinity remote is designed only to control comcast set top box and TVs. It also can control audio receivers. It is unlikely you can control a DVD player with it.

At best you could try and use the programming instructions on page 5 of the manual and see if it picks up your DVD player. Otherwise it might be better to use the existing remote controller you have and program the Comcast set top box to it. You need to find the codes from the programming instructions of the original remote control and you will also need to know the model number of your comcast box.

u didn't mentioned the model of comcast remote.if it is DVR 3 device then you can control panasonic dvd through it. the programming code is 20490

if its comcast DVR 3 divice univeral remote control then try these code 0490,0632,1490,1907

The Plaroid brand is not one of the listed brand for this remote. But you can try the Apex (081,082,084,087) or Diamond Vision (131,132,133) codes if those don't work then try the Manual Code Search or Auto code search in the manual link below to see if the codes were also used for another brand. Then use the Code Retrieval to record which code worked if any for that brand. Otherwise the remote doesn't contain the code needed and you will need to try and find a Universal that lists and contians the codes for the Polariod DVD. Learning Remotes can be programmed from the original remote to work when there is no code listed. Hope this was helpful.

I used the code 10178 as was suggested here on my LG plasma TV and it worked.

Try 11256 . I don't have an all-in-1 . Just Comcast remote and I am now able to power/volume with that code.
