HP LaserJet 3050, 3055, 3390, 3392 AiO Product - How to Print a FAX Confirmation Report Description By default, a Fax Confirmation report (Fax Call Report) will only print when a fax error occurs. However, this option can be changed using the printer control panel.

1. Press the right arrow until Reports appears in the display, press the checkmark.
2. Press the right arrow until Fax Call Report appears in the display, press the checkmark.
3. Press the right arrow until Print Report appears in the display, press the checkmark.
4. Right arrow to the option of choice, press the checkmark to save the change.

FAX call report options

• Send Fax Only - a confirmation sheet will only print when a fax is sent
• Never - no fax confirmation sheets
• Every Error - default setting
• Send Error - a fax confirmation prints when the fax transmission encounters an error
• Every Fax - a fax confirmation sheet will print for incoming

hp laserjet is not a fax.It is only a printer.

Hi. The fax-module in lj 3055 needs a 100% analog dial tone. You might get it working on a internet-phone-line, but HP garantees nothing because there are so many internet-phone-providers, and all of them operates with different specs and line-quality. You might try to lower the baud rate, turn off JBIG compession and error-correction. If the problem still remains, you need to replace your phone-line to a 100% analog line. Not any internet or ISDN/adapter-stuff. You should test your fax on any analog line at a friends house, just to make sure the fax i working anway.

You need to get into your menu settings for the fax and set it to automatic answer. Sounds like it is set to something else. Print a configuation page to review your current settings.

it is problem with Fax card built in printer ned to be replaced it ....

My HP 3055 cannot scan but can print & fax.
