Checksum verification on compression loader failed causes my ASA5505 to reboot. Any ideas? I have already attempted to perform a factory reset.

Part of the difficulty lies in that after performing a factory reset, Windows 10 will then attempt to install updates which followed the original factory provided version of Windows 10. That can be a rather tediously lengthy process if you are expecting simply a quick fix by a reset. Such subsequent updates can involved reboots and some long intervals almost as joyous as awaiting defragmentation to complete on non-SSD equipped computers. And if there is somehow damage to the backup image being drawn upon ;for the restoration, one may be tempted to drive over the computer in a vehicle. But chances are, you are simply witnessing a restoration for which you would be better off spending half a day elsewhere while it attempts to sort itself out. I wish I could give you an idea of just how long this takes but all I can offer is kiss goodbye the idea it will be measured in minutes rather than hours. A faster alternative? There are rescues via USB drives loaded with Windows 10. But if you have sufficient patience, you might be able to recover simply by using the reset. But don't sit around waiting!

1. Reboot into Recovery mode (hold Home, Volume Up, and Power, releasing Power when you see the device turn on/reboot).
2. Perform a Factory Reset (press Volume Down until wipe data/factory reset is selected, press Power, scroll down to Yes -- delete all user data and press Power again).
3. Proceed through the device Setup Wizard until it prompts you for the Google account credentials.

Steps are:

1. turn it off
2. hold power and vol + button until menu appears
3. press vol - to highlight "recovery kernel"
4. press vol + to select it
5. press vol - and vol + at the same time
6. menu will appear use vol - to select "wipe data factory reset"
7. press power button to select it
8. press vol - to select "yes delete all user data"
9. press power button to select it
10. this will perform a few actions and take you back to the menu from step 6 should already be on "reboot system now"
11. press power button to select "reboot system now"
12. the Nabi will reboot and reset to factory defaults

This may be due to some software issue.i suggest you to reset your phone that will solve any kind of issues facing with your phone.I have my phone where my display went black, and i performed the below steps. You can even try this
Press and hold the combination of the Power key+ volum up key+ Menu key when the phone is off. When it enters the boot loader mode of teh phone use the volume key to scroll --> select wipe data and factory reset --> select yes and wait till the phone reboots.

3 Turn the ignition on.
Using the DRBIIIt, read the Fuel Level parameter in the PCM.
Does the DRBIIIt display a fuel level value?
All
Yes ! Replace and program the Powertrain Control Module in accordance
with the Service Information.
Perform POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST VER - 1 - NGC.
No ! Go To 4

Disconnect the PCM harness connectors.
Disconnect the BCM harness connector.
CAUTION: DO NOT PROBE THE PCM HARNESS CONNECTORS. PROBING

RESULTING IN POOR TERMINAL TO PIN CONNECTION. INSTALL

Measure the resistance of the PCI Bus circuit from the BCM harness connector to the
appropriate terminal of special tool #8815.
Is the resistance below 5.0 ohms?

Yes ! Replace BCM in accordance with the Service Information.
Perform POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST VER - 1 - NGC.
No ! Repair the PCI Bus circuit between the PCM and the BCM for an
open.

Use the Cisco ASDM or SDM software, that will give you an easy graphical interface to configure the ASA. One of them would have been shipped with the device.

Don't forget the ASA has to pre-configured, just a simple config. Have HTTPS enabled and telnet/SSH helps as well if you dont have a serial port or the console cable.

Cisco's website will give you quite a lot of info for free...

1. Change your PCs default gateway to your firewalls' internal IP

2. configure the nameservers on your ASA

Then internet will work fine.
