Problem with Hyundai DVD 320a

What u have to do cancel roots you have to select numbers on your remote or us navigation keys on your remote and then select enter key . most of dvd s which was creating root on DVD players those cds were burned under nero converter but use those methods will be helpful

4. Select region (0 = multi-region)
5. Press SETUP

1. Method 3:
2. Open the disc tray
3. Press 3, 8, 0, 0
4. Select RC (0=codefree)
5. Press SETUP
6. Close the disc tray

Sounds like your remote code is different to what's in the unit's display (DVD 2). You can try to 'reset' the remote, by pressing (and holding) 2 and ENTER/OK buttons together for 5 - 10 seconds, then release. This should restore your remote function back to your unit. If it does not, replace the batteries with new ones, and try again.

The remote may require a 'reset' of its command mode (to match the unit) whenever the batteries are replaced.

I assume you can play DVD by pressing the PLAY button on the main unit.

The remote could be broken. What happens when you press play on the DVD player this should start the movie. You can buy a cheap univesal RCA remote if you need to replace the old one.

To make the player as region free, switch on the LG HT554 Player. Push the eject button to open the tray. Now, press “0” on your player 4 times or until the region code settings shows up on your player. It will show the current region code and will then ask for new region code. Press “0” on your remote to set it as a new region code(0=All Regions). Press Enter key on remote, now restart your player and check the player by playing the DVD’s. It should be region free now.

"Root" is part of the Menu screen, press Menu on the remote to clear it.

Try website 1-800-remotes Factory original.To buy an exact remote.My opinion univeral remotes very problem's matics even u have ur tv codes in the manual,sometimes none of those codes in the manual will work with ur tv model,even there codes for it.

There is most likely nothing wrong with your remote. I just had exactly the same issue with my SE-R0161 remote. (I had just changed my remote batteries too and was getting a DR-2 code on the Toshiba DVR RD-XS52 unit's display.) My DVR and my remote had to be realigned so that they both have the same infared (IR) code. The remote and the DVR can have DR 1, DR 2 or DR 3 as remote codes. Pg 54 of the Toshiba Installation Manual explains how to align both your SE-R0161 and your based unit so that the remote works again. Good luck. Hope this helps.

looks like you need a new player, but first try anothere t.v if it does the same then you need a new player
