I am trying to completely clean the Crisper drawer of my KitchenAid Superba refrigerator. We've had it for 12 yrs. and it's still working great. My problem lies where the white plastic meets the clear plastic window at the bottom front of the drawer. Even though it seems like a tight seal, you can visibly see moisture and residue from spills. I have tried taking the drawer apart with no success. On the inside of the drawer is a clear plastic "lip" which prevents me from drying it. Is there any way of getting under that lip. Any help would be appreciated.
I don't know if you've already figured out how to remove the front panel on your refrigerator crisper bin, but here it is. Once the drawer is removed, pull back those clips on the top left & right of the front of the drawer.Just hold the side and pull back at the same time, then you can remove it. Once both side have been released you should be able to remove the clear plastic front and clean both pieces. I hope that is clear enough. Best of luck, unless of course you've already discovered the answer yourself.

hi there your fridge has whats called a wet wall evaporator where it freezes up then turns to water and runs down the wall , if you are getting water sitting in the base of the fridge check the drain hole which is sittuated at the bottom of the wet wall evaporator for any blockages ie. bits of food or paper labels.
hope this is of some help

Your evaporator coils frost up in normal use
and every eight hours or so the entire unit shuts down and the defrost heater
comes on to melt the frost. This cycle last about 20 minutes. The melted frost
drips into a drain pan and through a drain tube to the drain tray under the
freezer/refrigerator where it's evaporated by the condenser fan.
Your drain tube may be stopped up with ice at the upper end
because it drains too slow because it's stopped up at the lower end in the
evaporator pan under the unit at the floor. It can get dust and mold in it.
Once you get the ice out at the top a little pressure with a turkey baster will usually clear it out. Flushing
it out with hot water and clorox may help.
Make sure it drains quick enough to prevent
refreezing. . The drain should be located below the evaporator coils on the
lower back of the freezer.

Hello, Welcome to FixYa. I can see your dialog from previous post but not the other expert who was exchanging dialog. What I gather from this is the items inside the drawers freeze regardless of the temperature setting. Is this correct ? There are a couple of thing's I'd focus on with these symptoms, the condensor and condensor fan motor. First insure the condensor fan motor is turning freely and running when the compressor is operating. Second, insure the condensor coils under the fridge are completely clear of lint and dust. If these coils are clogged or blocked in any manner the unit will not cycle correctly, thus causing items to freeze...especially fruits and veggies even when in a drawer. It is possible the damper motor is not working properly as well and thereby staying wide open at all times allowing continual cold air into the fridge section. I would focus on the first two possibilities before moving forward though. Let me know if this is something you've investigated and can confirm both are OK. As for the grill at the bottom, that has no effect on the operation of the unit, however the panel/cover at the back does...it must be in place. Good luck. Regards, Macmarkus :)
