I actually have the 512mb graphics card but my question is how do i install graphics drivers when the installation disc wont even do a complete install?

unplug power cod, open computer Cabinet panel, remove cmos for 2 min and reinsert cmos,
wipe graphics card socket, reinsert graphics card, TURN on computer, press f2 to load default setting
you do not need to disable onboard graphics. in bios, some bios default configure your graphics card to primary

hope will help you

NO ONBOARD VIDEO

Hello here is the ASUS homepage:

http://support.asus.com/Download.aspx?SLanguage=en&m=P5N73-AM&p=1&s=22

Here is a list of beep codes:

http://www.computerhope.com/beep.htm

Your pci-e graphic card is failing or has a defect.
The problem could also be the power supply, not giveing enough power.
When you add a pci-e graphic card on the mainboard, the onboard graphic should deactivate itselves.
Try to remove the pci-e graphic card, and use the onboard graphic.
If still no picture, change the power supply.
Its not possible to change settings in the bios blindfolded.
You can reset the bios by removeing the cmos battery.
But ofcouse it could also be the mainboard itselves failing.
This is rarely happening, so i hope its just the power supply.
Try also to look for visual defects on the mainboard, especially the condensators on the mainboard.

Good luck

Scaleo p fitted new graphics card asus geforce 210 wont start up

Hi , i suggest try running the driver setup in "custom mode" checking option : clean install , to remove previous possibly corrupt installed settings
Also access BIOS setup and change "first seek peg" or some such, so BIOS communicates to Windows to first seek video device expansion card rather than onboard
(ps , if changed from onboard to expansion card ensure the onboard control applet for onboard video has been uninstalled via add/remove)

First off all reset the bios to default setting and restart the system. After restarting the system please go to your bios in the graphics segment and select auto option for card selection.

once done save all setting connect your monitor cable to your monitor and restart the system.

hope this will solve your problem.

PCI-E card does not work, onboard video works fine, this is the second card.

The Abit IP-95 manual doesn't show you how to adjust your bios settings when adding a PCI-E x16 graphics card. When adding a PCI-E card you'll need to adjust a few settings within, Advanced Setup.
Press the delete key on your keyboard every two seconds to load your bios menu. Within Advanced Setup look for, Onboard Device Configuration and open it. Find, Primary Graphics Adapter.
Set this to read as [PCI-E, VGA] save your changes and exit.

Currently your onboard graphics is enabled. You'll need to change this setting to PCI-E first. When you use the onboard UniChrome Pro 2D/ 3D Graphics & Video Controller you are also using some of your system memory to run the UniChrome graphics. Once you enable the bios to boot to the PCI-E card you can also stop using your system memory assigned to the UniChrome card. Link to Abit is provided below, click on it to open;

Cheers!

Replacing the onboard graphics card

Friend,
There are three PCI slots on yoyr motherboard. You can add any PCI VGA card to your board. After adding the VGA goto BIOS setup and make ON BOARD VGA DISABLED.

Thanks & Good Luck
