HS 850 won't go into pairing mode

I had my HS850 working well... till I accidentally deleted it from my Motorola Razor. Now the headset only blinks at 3 second intervals. Closing the headset and pressing the multi-function button for 6 seconds will not get it back into pairing mode. Any suggestions?

    I didn't use my Motorola HS 850 bluetooth device for two days. I left the headset charging for a few hours. Pressed the talk button on headset and only see ablue light in three second intervas. my phone cannot pick or connect to the HS859 headset,

Usually to solve some pairing problems shut off bluetooth completely(no lights) Push and hold button until bluetooth comes on,flashes then steady light,you may have to hold button for ten seconds or more.Then put phone in pairing mode.

I have a blackberry curve and am wanting to pair my bluetooth HS850 to it. Please help!
There actually is a trick to the HS850 - flip the boom closed, then hold down the button just until the light holds solid - IMMEDIATELY after it does flip the boom open and this should keep the light solid. Then on your cell/device search for bluetooth devices - you should be able to find it now. Passkey for most devices is 0000.

Motorola HS 850 Mic is not working.
perhaps it is in "mute mode" which can be activated on the headset itself by simultaneously pressing both the up and down volume buttons. Also, have you tried deleting the device from the phone you are using before you pair it up again? finally is there any firmware/software update available for the phone? This can be the case frequently with bluetooth problems with Blackberry devices (I know this from painful experience with this same headset). Good luck.
