If you do not personally know and trust the previous owner(s) of the used seats, you are risking the lives of your children.
Sometimes, a seat will be involved in a crash and the insurance company will replace it. The parent then will attempt to sell the seat to make a few extra dollars. This is illegal in parts of the USA.
Child restraints are designed to take impact forces once. Harnesses stretch and the shells are stressed. There may not be any obvious signs, but the seat cannot be used again.
If you still need a manual, email me at cps-at-marccohen-dot-net and I will email it to you.
