Question about SanDisk Sansa c240 MP3 Player
When I put an 8gb Sandisc MicroSD Card in the slot is something supposed to happen?
The player doesn't seem to see it and under settings it still only reports 1gb of memory.
Should it read 9gb if the card is working properly?
The memory won't read 9GB. It should read 1GB of the built-in memory, and then 8GB or slightly less from the SD card. They are actually separate "drives". From this standpoint, it seems like there are 2 possibilities:
1) The player isn't compatible with that new, top of the line SD card. (Most likely the case.)
2) The card is defective and needs to be exchanged under warranty or your money refunded.
Please let me know if this helps. Good luck!
