I formated my PC and I did not have the drivers

After PC format, you now need to put all the required pc drivers like modem driver, sound driver, LAN driver, WAN Driver, Camera Driver and other driver software. Maybe you miss this software. Check your device manager if you pc is not reading the sound card hardware because you have not install the sound card driver to activate the sound card.

And click the "Download Link" to download the respective drivers.

you need the driver for the model on what your formated your pc or your notebook if it is aspire acer go to the acer.com and download the drivers for it

is the windows cd for ibm specifically?
if not then you will need:
a sound card driver (optional)
a graphics card driver (optional)
a cd rom driver (maybe)
drivers for usb ports (optional)
and any other drives/ input devices on your laptop will need drivers.
when formatting bear this in mind. All data will be lost! proceed knowingly and with caution. one mess up will land you in problems up to your shoulders!

you can format your pc using the winxp installation cd, most of the drivers needed by by your motherboard are supported by this operating system defending on your type of motherboard. just in case you formatted and seen in your device manager with devices with no drivers then you can easily download to the internet for support.
