I JUST BOUGHT A NEW HEAD UNIT JVC DOUBLE DIN DVD BLAH BLAH AND NEW FRONT DOOR SPEAKERS. INFINITY 60WRMS 180PEAK THERE CRACKING AND SNAPING AT HIGH VOLUME? HELP

OK im not familiar with the unit is it a dvd as well? single din or double........ owners manual will help u can probably get free pdf file from www.pacparts.com then contact me and we go from there

The standard double DIN size is 180 W x 100 H mm ( 4" x 7" ), please check before buying if your car is compatible with double DIN audio head units.

No, the powered subwoofer gets its signal AND power through the DIN connector so you'd have to second guess JVC engineers on which pins are power or signal; and what voltage level it supplies and then you'd have to come up with a source for the power. Managing the volume and relative levels would be a trick, too. Devastation lies down that path.

Get the prescribed JVC electronics or go with a whole new sound solution.

A 1 DIN stereo is what came stock in your vehicle. A 2 din stereo is double the height of a 1 DIN stereo, but the same width.

your radio/dash opening DIN size is what they call double DIN, to get the right unit fopr this u will need to know if you have a Facory Infinity premium sound system, it makes a diff in the model f the in dash units, here is a link to a site that has a selection of in dash DVD players for your double DIN dash.
