I put a new battery in the car and now the radio does not work. I do not know the 4 digit code since it was my dad's car and he has since passed.

The only way to find out the right coad it to get the radio looked at for decoaded if you just try gessing the coad it will lock you out,, if you need to change a battery in any car its all ways best to hook up a battery to the leads befor you take off the car battery that way you keep any radio coads and it dont upset the car alarm settings

Replaced battery. I have the 4-digit radio code but how can I reset and get my radio back?

do you know the 4 digit code, if you do then put the code in , follow the directions in your owners manual. If you know it you need to go to a GM dealer to have them to do it and it's not cheap .

A warning signal non stop

If it is constant cycling beeps it is because it is in factory mode, when the car is new and you input the code it usually cycles beeps through all the speakers one after the other, it takes up to 5 minutes to stop and then will work ok, if it is a beep when you put the code in then the code is wrong, there is a 4 digit pre code on the side of the radio, if you go on renaults web site and put in your chassis number then the pre code, it will give u the code that renault gave that stereo, costs 15 or a dealer can also do it for you.

That 4 digit code is not a serial # it is a 4 digit anti theft code witch is usually set by factory so usually if you have the original manual for car the code should be written in there some where usually

S70 instrument cluster not working

Hi,

I had a similar problem. The speedometer didn't work. This is going to sound a little strange, but, at some point the battery died. When the new battery was put in, all of a sudden the speedometer worked again. Can't explain it, but it's true. Maybe just disconnecting and re-connecting the battery would help you, BUT BE CAREFUL about the radio. When the battery is disconnected (or dies) you have to put the radio code in again to use your radio. Make sure you have the 4-digit radio code before you disconnect the battery. If you enter it 3 times and fail, google what to do then.

Put new battery in now my radio wont work, how to

Somehere in the owners manual or the supplimentary sound system booklet, you should find a hand written number, it should be about 4 digits long. That is your radio lockout code.

Lost my audiocar code

As long as that was the original radio installed in this vehicle the code can be retrieved by the dealer for a fee. Take registration and proper Id to dealer and they will be able to get your code back for you. Godd Luck
