A. This is due to a mathematical error such as
- dividing by 0,
- an illogical operation,
- calculations outside the range of a function,
- using the exponential function with the [^] key,
- logarithm of a negative number,
- calculating the factorial of numbers larger that 69,
- what have you.
- Check the expression of the function you are trying to graph.
B. Reset your calculator and start again: Press the button on the back of the calculator; use a starightened paper clip.Draw the line y=XPress Menu.
- Use keys to highlight [GRAPH] and press [EXE].
- Make sure the screen that opens says Graph Func Y= at the top.
- On the Y1= line enter X (use the [X,theta,T] key under the [ALPHA] key.
- Press [F6:Draw].
- You should see a staright line passing through the origin (0,0).
