This is most likely a motor brush problem and this is common with the Cadiz and other large scooters that use a dipole motor. You will need to remove the motor brushes and blow out the carbon dust with compressed air. Inspect the brushes and replace them if they are extensively worn or if their is any evidence of heat damage. This should be part of an annual service which is necessary if the scooter is used daily or heavily. New brushes can be purchased from eBay for around £10 for a pair. Only use the genuine brushes (they should have a number 43 stamped on them)This is most likely a motor brush problem and this is common with the Cadiz and other large scooters that use a dipole motor.
