I have a Kyocera Mita KM-1815 printer error when scanning-Error C3200. May scan one or two sheets then I get this error. We have to turn the printer off and on to clear the error message.
Remove the flat wire in the scanner, then remove the railings from the scanner, clean the railings with a soft cloth, if you encounter the c3200 error it only means that the railings of the scanner is dirty, the scanner cannot move. i hope this will fix your problem..... if you have anymore questions regarding kyocera copiers dont hesitate to txt me or call me to this number +639081953003 or +639079941995

• In indicator check before starting copying, the average value in scanning of the shading plate with the CCD is 128 or more.
Solution:
Defective scanner board (KP-5063). Replace the scanner board (KP-5063) and check for correct operation
Defective exposure lamp or inverter board. Replace the exposure lamp or inverter board.
Incorrect shading position. Adjust the position of the contact glass (shading plate). If the problem still occurs, replace the scanner home position sensor.
Poor contact of the connector terminals. Check the connection of connector YC7 on the scanner board (KP-5063), and the continuity across the connector terminals. Repair or replace if necessary.
These are direct from the Tech man. More than likely it is the Exposure Lamp.
The km 2050 was on network, but moved to home and directly into tower system via usb interface connector. Printer works, but can not get scanner to work? read instructions without a clue. can someone help with correct proceedure?
it's the the expansion card on the main board in the middle, has a yellow circular cmos battery. Either its faulty or popped out during moving the machine. if faulty, replace.
