The important thing is the ampage. If you have your old car charger check the ampage output. A higher amp rating charger will be ok as the p550 will only draw the current it needs. The voltage you listed sounds like a house charger not a portable car charger. cars run at 12v and the output should be something like 5v dc - 1amp (normally anyway).

I need to find a ac/dc charger for a Defiant Flashlight Model 800-2701D Can you help??

This flashlight is sold by Home Depot, and it is possible that you might be able to find a name-brand exact replacement charger there. However, you almost certainly can find a replacement charger elsewhere for less money.

Looking at a picture of the light and its power adapter, it appears that the light has a standard barrel charging port. A dollar store or "Dollar Plus" store is likely to sell inexpensive multi-voltage universal chargers that will fit this light and get you back in business for under $5.

When fitting a non-OEM charger to your light, make sure that you've set proper polarity and input voltage for your device, or else you may damage it in charging. Many devices specify voltage and polarity right on the device, molded into the case or on a small sticker. That makes this process super-easy. Otherwise, you may have to head down to a Home Depot and peek at one of these lights in its box to read the voltage output off the stock charger. The odds are pretty good that it'll be putting out 12 volts, but I won't guarantee that by any means--input may be 6v or even 4.5 volts, though those are much less common in lights of this type.

Good luck!

I have mio s600 and during the travel the car charger has stopped working, so the navigation automatically started to use it's one battery. After I pulled out the charger, and sticked it in again,

If you are using the lighter plug for charging it may have a fuse inside the plug itself the plugs into the lighter socket,,,,,look for a fuse there or if have a volt meter check for voltage reaching the unit when plugged that way If voltage is good to the unit from the car source the battery may be bad, either not getting a voltage for charging or battery not holding a charge.

MIO p550 will not turn on

hi
i think you must know the difference between hard and soft reset.

soft reset is the small hole you put the edge of your stylus to reset the device without erasing anything. (software restart)

hard reset (hardware restore) is:

switch the on/off slider button to OFF. keep the joystik pushed UP and without leaving the joystick slide the from OFF to ON and wait about 30 seconds.

do all that while connected to the power charge. I'd prefer you do that with a wall charger, and not with a USB cable connected to your computer (we dont like this charging state from USB ports)

let me know what happened after that. if possible, upload a video showing us what you did.

thanks
Gery

Where can I get a new charger, I lost mine

Hi,

You can try calling Target Customer Service 1.800.440.0680 and inquire cost & availability of the charger for the TruTech PVS12701.

Alternately, you can just look for an AC adapter/charger that has the following specs:
Input Voltage - your country's standard AC mains;
Output Voltage - 12VDC
Output Current - at least 1.5 Amp (the higher the better)
Connector - one that will fit and match the polarity of the TruTech PVS12701. (am guessing crown type center positive, pls confirm with the store. It may also help to bring along the unit when doing the purchase over the counter)

Hope that this be of some help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.
