I have a samsung er- 650 register and am having problems with my groups that i programmed. i made one of the groups misc, button and for some reason another one of my groups is going to that group and not sure why or which one. what number should be beside it under the program mode when i pull up that plu . i have 5 groups programmed and food as the only taxable one and there is a number 2 beside it under that plu in program mode. it wont let me put 0 in

to program an open misc key in the first 10 columns of the keyboard turn key to program and hit 100 subtotal, then press the key to be programmed. enter o and hit time , cash for a non taxable open key or press 400000000 time , cash for open taxable key

Those machines have a memory allocation section where you need to define the file sizes for products, etc. If your file size is smaller than the machine you are copying from, then it wont work. Try setting the memory allocation first.
You just use one of the item buttons. Re-name it to MISC then when you use it in REG mode, type a price each time and press MISC. This is the standard way to make a MISC button Make sure you don't use a decimal point when entering prices. Hope that makes sense
