I am using a wireless mesh setup using DWL 2700AP, which is supposedly configured with a static IP 192.168.4.3/24
I set my machine in the same subnet (192.168.4.10/24) but I am not able to ping it.
How do I know what configuration the AP is set up with? Or is there a way to reset the AP to its default settings?
Thanks

Hi there is problem on DWL-2700AP Version B with the new frame DWL2700AP.v320.rc157.tfp my ap web or telnet stop , so i try your solution the two switches labelled S3 and S4 located along the right long side with the antenna facing up (this is when the AP is opened). Power the AP up and use a flat item to press S4 down for about 30 seconds.
the ap work agine thanks
The D-Link support site states that the DWL-2700AP can only be reset to the factory default through the graphical interface. It can however also be done by opening the unit up and pressing a switch.
For the DWL-2700AP Version B, there are two switches labelled S3 and S4 located along the right long side with the antenna facing up (this is when the AP is opened). Power the AP up and use a flat item to press S4 down for about 5 seconds.
This will reset the AP to the factory default settings.

Remove 13 screws from the perimeter of the back side of the DWL-2700AP and pull the covers apart. On the inside along the bottom adjacent from where the network cable plugs in, you will find a reset button. It is next to the white plug that leads to the antenna. You will need a flat screwdriver or something thin and sturdy to wedge between the casing and the reset button. While the AP has power, press the button and hold it in for a few seconds then release. Give it a few minutes and the factory defaults should be restored. Default IP: 192.168.0.50, Default subnet mask: 255.255.255.0

Restore it to default, with these things, if it wont work on automatic, then something is worng.
