#1 problem for this TV. Check to see if your color wheel is spinning. The lamp will not light if the color wheel is not spinning. This color wheel goes bad easily.

Resolder the flyback pins as thats what causes the FL231 fuse to blow. Soldering the flyback should solve the issue you may need to replace the fl231 again

52 in RCA rear projection television

Not haveing the convergence option on this set is a clear indication you have the fl231 fuse problem. this is a simple repair and i see it all the time at the shop. I would suggest you read the "fl231 fuse problem in the tips and tricks section of this website. others have repaired this for less than 10 dollars and about an hour. if you have any trouble be sure to let me know

Replace a fuse R52WM24

you can temporarially. Its recomended not to exceed fuse ratings especially the amperage do to pretective reasons. You can get the proper FL231 fuse at the following link. They have a 10.00 minimum order for free shipping so you may have to order enough fuses to add up to 10.00 or pay for shipping if under 10.00 Heres the link.

Tv model r52wm24

You most likely need a new convergence power supply board if fl231 keeps blowing thats the most likely cause, also check for shorthed capacitor cp231. If you need a link to get a replacement convergence power supply board, let me know I know where you can get them.

No power RCA R52WM24

ok since you have checked the main glass fuse on the little board toward the front. You have no flashing led on front of set. this is an indication that you are missing the voltage to your processor. also known as standby. fl231 and the two other little brown rectangular fuses can be blown and the set will still come up and shut down. Are You a technician? The next step i would check is to see if your getting 320 volts out of your main doubler... CAREFULL VERY CAREFULL this will hurt you. so if your not tech.. dont do it.
