yep! The fuse should have been 1 amp to protect it and the voltage was probably higher than 12 v and unregulated. Goodbye GPS its a total write off now. Cheaper to buy a new one.

i have lost my instal cd for my navman n40i

Do i need to keep power to my Navman N60i as i change the battery,or is it ok to remove the battery and place the new one in. Will i wipe out the memory.Thank you.

Called Navman support. They told me that there are no U.S. maps available for my model.
