Panasonic nn-t993sf - power but then no power

I hit 1 minute to heat something. It turned on - timer started - turntable & light worked - then after 30 seconds it just turned off. The : was still on. Light comes on when I opened the door. I unplugged it for 1 minute to reset any internal but still it does this. Is it worth it to take to a repair shop or should I just buy a new one. Hubby thinks a new one but sheesh I fixed the tv for $50 last year! Hubby said he heard & bzz noise when he tried it before I tried to use it.

Why does Panasonic nn-sn651 usually work; but sometimes, turntable won't start ?
This is an inverter model so there is no diode or hv capacitor.
You must adt. the door latch switch assembly to make sure that the door hooks make contact with the switches. Common problem is that the assembly is bent and must be perpendicular to the door.If it is bent the switch will not make contact with the door hooks.
Place a dab of lithium grease on the tip of the door hooks to ease closing the door. This is the cause of the bent switch assembly!

Panasonic NN-T993SF microwave oven LCD display is out. The keypad is working fine and also the unit is working fine except the LCD display.
The display is part number AEDDHJ5W00AP.

Turntable doesn't rotate
Your turntable motor need replacement. tip upside down with dish removed and gain access to turntable motor from underneath.(remove power plug before you start working on the m/wave.) 2 screws hold the small t/table motor in place.Unscrew both and pull motor upwards. Quote the info on the motor for a replacement. I find cooking isnt effected in any wayexcept if you want to bake things like cakes. It then requires the t/table motor.

most microwaves do have an internal ceramic fuse either 15 amp or 20 amp the cover has to come off to locate it usually at the top just behind the control board. do not touch the high voltage capacitor as it holds a charge even when the unit is unplugged.

Panasonic Microwave Model #NN-T993 displays fine and when I push the start button, the display shows it should be working, but turntable is not turning and is not heating.
Sorry to tell you this but some ones has to. Your unit is shot. the cost of repair out weights the cost of a new one. you can get a basic unitn 800 wates for a bout 89.00 you cant repair for that. Try looking at Thrift store;s you can find good clean working microwaves for $25.00 or less no kidding. happy hunting DFD
