In the Netflix application it should ask if you are a existing Netflix subscriber and then bring you to a screen asking for your Netflix username and password. To enter your username and password, use the arrow keys on your Sharp remote control until the desired field is highlighted and press ENTER on the remote. The on-screen keyboard will appear, which will allow you to enter your Netflix username and password. To enter text in the internet browser, launch the web browser through Smart Central under the Web & Search tab. Once in the web browser, press the yellow D key on your Sharp remote control to bring up the tool bar and use the left and right arrow keys until the URL field is highlighted and press ENTER to bring up the URL entry screen. Once in the URL entry screen, highlight the field at top using remote's arrow keys and press ENTER to bring up the on-screen keyboard and type in the URL address of the website you wish to visit. When you first turn on your system there should be a message at the bottom for you to choose an "F" key to enter BIOS. When you push that "F" key and enter BIOS choose the tab that says system. When you do the USER, HDD and Admin password will pop up. Choose the HDD and click enter. IT will ask for a password, dont type anything just simply click enter, and when it asks to retype the password push enter again. What this does is let the BIOS know it is a "CLEAR" password and lets it know not to ask for one. After you do that choose the "F" key that allows you to exit and save. Your system will re boot and will no longer should ask for a password to your HDD.

If there is a key symbol illuminated on the display, press and hold the "LOCK" button on the Zenith remote. This is located near the bottom of the remote, near the REC/ITR button.

For the parental lock feature, press the SETUP button on the remote then use the UP/DOWN arrow keys to highlight RATING and press the RIGHT arrow once. This will open the rating menu. Press the DOWN arrow repeatedly until UNLOCK is highlighted then press ENTER. Finally, press SETUP again to close the menu.

You may be asked to enter a password to change the rating setting. If you know the password (4 numbers), enter it when prompted. If you don't know or you've forgotten the password, close the menu using the SETUP key, then press SETUP again to re-open the menu.

Dont select anything here, simply press 2 1 0 4 9 9 using the number keys on the remote and then press ENTER. This will clear any password that has been set. You will then be asked to set a new password the next time you try to access the RATING section of the menu.

Hi,

The default password on this TV is 9 9 9 9.

To get to the screen to enter this and deactivate parental control do the following;

1) Turn on your TV and press the "Menu" button.

2) Use the arrow keys on your remote control to navigate to the "Parental" header, then press the "Enter" button

3) Enter "9999" at the password prompt. That will lift the password lock.

U can enter simulation mode and input "14" to clear the message.

If happen again, u need to check following:
Thermistor
Control PWB
Fusing section connector disconnection
The fusing unit is not installed.

if the machine dies enter the code 14, then press start, the machine wil reboot and the problem wil be solved, if not , contact your nearest service centre
