I use acer laptop but my document do not get opend due to this laptop having no microsoft word enabled

Microsoft Outlook is included in the Microsoft Office installation CD, the 25 digit installation code is in the Microsoft Office documentation.

The problem for the Acer Aspire 3000 series is into the chipset battery, that comunicate to the PC through a serial protocol (probably I2C) to sent information, charge, status, etc.
Due to an ACPI bug, the battery module is not recognized by Windows. Bios upgrade doesn't solve the problem.

To solve the proble there are three ways:
- change the Hal driver to "PC standard"
- disable (not uninstall) the "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery " and "Microsoft AC adapter"
- unplug the battery for 1 minute and re-plug it (with windows running).

The first metod work fine but Wi-Fi doesn't wok. All the rest of hardware yes, "Suspend" not possible, you must torn off the PC manally. Not Good!

The second is the right. It work only if your PC (HAL driver) is configured at "PC uniprocessor ACPI", see Microsoft documentation for help (HAL options after Windows Xp setup...).

The best way is to install a fresh Windows Xp, WITHOUT BATTERY INSERTED!!!. Windows configure it automatically in the right option.
After installion start Windows, important leave battery unplug,
then go to the device manager, expand "Batteries"; than disable "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery" and "Microsoft AC adapter". It's fondamental to not disinstall them, otherwise windows re-install them at next boot!
Now you have a complete usable PC with ACPI enable (suspend, auto power off,...), windows does not comunicate with the battery, and the system doesn't freeze. The PC is also able to charge the battery and use it, the only unusable function is the battery status.
The battery infact is charged by hardware not by software. If you are in battery mode you can't now how charge remain.

I have an Acer Aspire 3005 WLMi, with the same bug and now i use it without problem.

Yes, this is normal.
When you buy a new computer, there is usually a 60 day TRIAL.
When this expires you need to buy the activation key from microsoft to continue using it.
You could also Download and use a FREE alternative.
Open Office is free, it can open and save in microsofts document formats.

Most likely, the Acer product key that you see at the bottom of the laptop is for the operating system, and not Microsoft Office. I would first check and see what is written by the code (does it say Microsoft Windows or does it say Microsoft Office Home & Student)?

If you purchased this version of MS Office Home and Student, it should have come with a code. If it came with your computer, Acer should have provided the code somewhere with the documentation.

Function F7 to disable the touch pad and the same buttons to enable it. The function key is the button with Fn. on it. I hope this helps, and please rate my answer.

Dear sir, due to heating problem u are getting such type of errors.Get the laptop opend by a technician to clean up the dust.From software side,u have to check for your vedio driver,either reinstall it or get it updated.

Microsoft Word document protection has some features that will cause a document to be opened Read Only by anyone except one specific user, so if you have that turned on... it could cause your problem.

So on your home machine, go to Tools->Protect Document... and disable any document protection you have enabled there, then try and bring your document to work and opening it. If you need your document protected, try to see if you can make the protection password-driven only, and not have any user-driven protection.
