Check your samsung owners manual for audio settings to see if this model has a audio time delay setting .

How do I connect a Pioneer S508 amplifier to a Samsung Bluray DVD player?

This is a common problem. Not all models of DVD players have analog audio connections.

The image of the back of the DVD is suppose to be a BD5700?

The connections AUX on the amp and the connections audio out red and white RCA connector are connected with a audio cable.
The images marked with the red are these locations

If your model of DVD player does not have a set of red/white audio connectors you have two other choices.
  1. If TV is connected via HDMI that the audio is included to the TV. The TV will likely have a set of red/white audio "out" RCA connectors that would connect into the Pioneer.
  2. Purchase a specific powered adapter that takes the Optical audio signal and converts to a analog RED/White RCA connector that will connect via audio cables into the AUX of the Pioneer,

My denon rcd-m35dab, there is disc in and plays ok but cannot open the drawer it just shuts down/turns itself off

Check the belt or drive that is responsible for opening up the disk tray. If it is slipping the disk will not come out.

I have just bought a samsung soundbar hw h355 and I'm trying to connect it up to my toshiba tv, via the aux cable but I get no sound from it via the tv link. I works when I link my phone up via Bluetooth....

Please get a optical cable and run it from TV to soundbar for best sound. If you are using aux input on sound bar that will work but it is analog sound. TV needs to have mini audio out or red/white output on it maybe labeled audio out

I just bought a samsung home theater in a box system, model Ht-D5500. And i also have a hd cable box. i was wondering how can i connect my cable box up so that i get audio from the speakers instead of the...

There are two ways of connecting to get cable TV audio from your Home Theater System.
1) If your HD cable box has a digital audio out ( either optical or coaxial ) you can connect this to the Samsung Home Theater Systems digital input. While watching a TV channel scroll through the Samsungs input ( source ) selector till you hear the sound. Remember to mute the TV sound while you are doing this. Most probably it will be the CBL/SAT input or Video AUX.
2) If your HD box does not have digital audio out you can connect the Red & White audio out of the same to your Samsungs Aux or TV or Video audio inputs . Ignore the yellow socket and connect only the Red and White audio inputs. For getting Video through the TV connect the HD box to TV via HDMI cable or connect the Yellow video out to the TV's Yellow video in. I am sure it is already connected .

Hi Martin,

A wiring Schematic is not that you should be looking. What you need is large feeders to understand hot to connect to various ports to give your desired output.

I have no sound from amp wen i have the tv on.the dvd sound is ok

You have to also connect the audio from the devices to the Denon. Unless you are using HDMI I would use the Denon as the audio / video switcher and the plasma as a monitor only (video lcable from Denon to plasma or you can connect all your devices to the plasma audio / video and use the audio out from the plasma to an input on the Denon (Aux, Video or VCR

Hooking up home theater

Run a regular RCA type audio cable from your TV audio out to your Home Theatre audio in. That is what I have done recently with my Samsung LCD and Home Theater. You then have to put your Home Theater on Aux 1 or Aux 2 to get the sound from TV. Ensure your TV's volume is off.
