monitor needs to be service issue might be with the motherboard pls take the monitor to service center

Might be from overheating, monitors do overheat sometimes. I had the same issue happening to one of my old monitors and it wasn't fixable unfortunately. I had to replace it and get a new one.

How to troubleshoot a Samsung SyncMaster 743NX LCD Monitor? My Samsung SyncMaster 743NX monitor turns on slowly. I mean,last week when I started up my pc,it took 5-10 mins before my monitor displayed anything. I know the pc is already turned on because I've already heard the Windows Vista start up tune play. The problem is now getting worse as it now takes 20-30 mins before my monitor displays anything. Please help.

try by uninstalling the video driver from safe mode and reinstall the driver.if the problem persist then your monitor needs servicing

yes the monitor is over heating there should be warranty on the montor

ferozkhan, It could be your LCD backlight giving you problems. With the computer on and the monitor power LED green shine a flashlight in the lower left hand corner of your screen. Look for the ?Start? button, if your backlight is not working you?ll see a faint ?start? button if you look closely. Depending on the monitor this is usually an economically repairable problem.
