Driver I just purchased the L1975NW monitor. The manual said to go to Nvidia for the video card driver. Nothing I see there matches my video card (VIA/S3G Unichrome) I can't set the monitor to the optimum resolution. The other site recommended was Intel, I have AMD. I'm new at this and unsure what to do.

Just look for the newest driver there is for your graphics card. Try here http://www.via.com.tw/en/products/mainboards/download_main.jsp

If you still can't set the resolution to match the optimum for your new monitor then the graphics card isn't capable of matching it. You could add a new graphics card.

Detects monitor but no video

Hi there.
Due to Nvidia's architecture limitation, you can only use a maximum of 2 monitors on 1 graphics card. In order to run 3 monitors you will need to SLI your 570 with another 570. This can be extreamly costly.
If you want a cheap route to get a 3rd monitor, use a USB to DVI connection on the third monitor, it's great and cheaper than buying another card if you just want a monitor for basic use and not gaming. If you want to game with it then you're going to have to SLI with another card.

Cannot set resolution 1640x1050

Hi,
To answer your question in short: If your video card and monitor drivers are installed correctly and you are able to adjust the resolution to 1640x1050 in your settings then your card and monitor are able to handle that resolution.
Remember that at higher resolutions your display card performance might become very slow.]
This is due to your BIOS shared memory being only 64Mb.
To get better performance you will have to upgrade your display card to one with more memory. ie. 256Mb. or more.
Best of luck.

Wrong plug-n-play display selected.

double adapter output display adapters generally need a multible monitor driver to run correctly,

Per-pixel rendering

the message is clear, the problem is clear, the solution is:
- upgrade your videocard to one that does support per pixel rendering,
- simply not to use that option,
- try to find another piece of software that has the same functionality but doesnot require per pixel rendering,
- get in touch again with the card manufacturer and see if per pixel rendering is indeed not available,
- if possible, buy another graphics card that has the option and put them in SLI (if supported) which will improve your graphics for other software as well.

Perpixel rendering related problem

The IGP in VIA/S3G UniChrome Pro IGP stands for Integrated Graphics Processor. The WindowBlinds error message indicates that onboard graphics tend not to support per pixel acceleration. There's your answer: your graphics cards do not support this kind of advanced processing; unfortunately a driver update isn't going to solve the problem, as it's hardware-related. You will need to upgrade to a more powerful card if you want to use the translucent borders.
