You have a broken spinner. Take hte motor cover off and look on the opposite side of the motor. there will be a partof the spinner wheel there. I have yet to find a way to short cirut the connectors nor a replacement wheel.

My tx335 treadmill will run for about 7 sec. then stops running. It shows up on the monitor the number 3 when it shuts off. What could be wrong with it and how can I fix it??

That is the speed sensor interrupt. Sport craft is hard to get parts for. You can take the cover off and see if you can repair it though

My Sportcraft TX-400 Treadmill shuts off after 7 seconds

Dear sIR:
This by lack of LUBE, in your schedule maintenance DECK BELT. maybe the belt is worn.
2) Lube the roller bearing.
3) Align the belt see the diagrams
4) Test the input voltage motor, if there are voltage motor, the motor need repair.
5) Test the output voltage board, for input voltage motor, if there are NOT the board is faulty.
Now you can RUN the software calibration for diagnose, troubleshooting. See my personal TIPS for HELPs too.

sincerely. God bless you

I have a sportcraft treadmill tx335 it shows error 7 why and how do i fix it

Error code seven is due to the console getting locked. I called Sportcraft and they said to do this: Unplug the treadmill for five min and then re-plug the treadmill. Now push the ON/OFF switch to ON and insert the safety key. Now press the MODE and STOP button simultaneously. Without releasing the buttons take out the safety key and insert it again. Now you should hear a beep and the display will come on. Release MODE & STOP and now press the Speed increment (+) button

I have aI have a sportcraft treadmill that stops working after 7

You will need to check the speed sensor for proper alignment and function. it should be located near the front roller or mounted on the motor. It should be within a credit cards width of the magnet or toothed wheel. If properly adjusted check with an ammeter to see if it is opening and closing by manually spinning the front roller or motor flywheel. If it isn't replace the sensor. If it is functioning make sure you are getting 5vdc to it across the wires. If you are not replace the upper control board(console). If you are getting the proper voltage then replace the lower control board(motor controller).

I have a sportcraft tx 2.5 treadmill thats needs it stops on 7 sec evertime i moved and lost the manual to it what should i do

Can you give more details? are you saying it stops 7 seconds after you step on it, (every time)?

If so, have you had the treadmill a while? this is an indicator of a worn belt. the belt is not sliding like it should, and drawing too much current. your control board will 'clip' the current off after a pre-set time, to avoid burning up components.

other things it could be:
1. your belt is too tight. did you tighten it lately? When did your treadmill start doing this?
2. The motor is going bad, and drawing too much current.
3. motor control board is bad.

look at your motor's current rating: measure the current draw when you get on it. if the current draw is ~ 80% of the rated current of the motor, and your belt is good,..and not too tight, it could be the motor.

if the treadmill is stopping while only drawing 4 or 5 amps, I would lean towards the control board is bad.

cheapest way to get started troubleshooting. Ensure the belt is not too tight, (adjust to only about 3 inches slack, when you pull up on it). next. buy some belt lubricant and lube it up.

If this doesn't fix your problem, keep looking for other fixya help. someone with SportCraft TX 2.5 specific experience. Sorry, I only have generic help here.

good luck.
