Hello [1] Insert the batteries into the Craig DVD player. Depending on the model you are using, the batteries are either rechargeable lithium-ion batteries or store-purchased AA batteries. [2] Plug the 3.5mm cable into the headphone jack on the side of the Craig DVD player [3] Insert the opposite end of the cable into the "Aux" connection on the car stereo. Without this audio-input option, you will be unable to hook the Craig DVD player up to your vehicle. [4] Power on the Craig DVD player and insert the desired DVD. The video will load onto the display screen while the audio is played through the car's stereo system. [3]
Hello
You haven't specified nothing about the model number or any other items of your portable DVD player. Normally all portable DVD player adapters will have a 9.3VDC 2.5Amps adapter to use with. You jsut go with your DVD player to any elelctronic spare parts shops in your town. They can detect the excat voltage and choose the right adapter for you. OK.
I have this same DVD player and had the same problem. I have recently discovered that when we open the flip top, one of the "joints" that keeps the flip top attached to the player kind of pops out? We had to snap it back into place after opening the DVD player. Our light still does not come on but the player does work. Just a suggestion!
I found that a BatteriesPlus store can rebuild battery packs for almost any device. In most cases they are faster and cheaper than buying a new one. Their website: www.batteriesplus.com
My screen would flicker when you tilted it back and forth. Sometimes it would cut out and moving it would make it come back on. I took the battery off and opened the screen from the front(2 screws in hinge & 2 screws under rubber plugs). There is a ribbon plug inside. Mine looked kinked in one spot so I just repositioned it so the kink was in another spot. Everything worked fine after that. Hope this helps.
