The date may have a mechanical change at midnight(ish).

f this is the case, take the watch past midnight and then wind it back to (say) 11 and then forward again. Repeat this until the correct date is achieved.

If you watch is an electronic type then press the mode button until the date change function appears (it is likely to be abreviated "DC ? perhaps" and then use one of the other buttons to advance or ****** the date as required. Some experimenting may be required.

Date changes at mid day not at mid night.

Your watch is 12 hours out of step. The date changes ever second rotation of the hour hand.

If you advance the time 12 hours, the date will change at midnight.

You may have to re-set the date.

Hi, My watch is changing date at 12 noon instead

Your watch is 12 hours out of step. (The date changes every second revolution of the hour hand.)

Wind your watch forward 12 hours, (you may have to reset the date) and it will then change around midnight.

Cant set wrist watch

To set a basic wristwatch, simply pull the crown (the winder button at the 3:00 position on 99% of watches) out gently - it will click into adjusting position. Wind to send time and then push back in again.

Variations on this are: If you have a watch with date display, the crown will have 2 positions, the first click will be to set the date and the second click (fully out) is to set time. If you need to adjust the date, I suggest you wind the date to the day before you need and then use the second click to wind the hands to the correct date. This way you will be able to know if you have the hour at a.m or p.m position and avoid it have the date changing during the day instead of at night.

One last variation for wristwatches is a screw down crown. Some water resistant and sports models incorporate an added feature whereby the crown is threaded so it can be tightened down to avoid water entering - the most common place water gets into a watch! If you have one of these, you simply need to screw the crown anticlockwise until it pops out and then refer to the instructions above. Don't forget to push and screw the crown back in clockwise when you are done

The date adjusts at 1am. any solution? thanks

mcdevito75 here, That sounds about right, each watch is slightly different, some watches, have the date change at 10:30 PM and some at 11:00 PM, and if your Tag also has the month or day to change along with the date, this could account for the date changeing kind of late. I don"t think it"s anything to worry about.

Fix date n month on wrist watch

mcdevito75 here The stem has 2 positions, we all know the 1 to pull the stem out and set the time, day, date. try this, first go thru the watches 24 hour cycle to get the month you need, now slip a fingernail just under the stem (crown) and gently lift to it"s first position, it may take a few times to get used to, when you have it turn the crown (stem) to change the date easily, change the date to 1 date before the date you want, now go thru the watches 24 hour cycle to get to the date you need. Now the watch is set and will change on time at around mid--nite.

0512037FA Wrist Watch: how do you set the date in the window of a seiko 6...

mcdevito75 here, The stem should have 2 positions to set the DATE without haveing to cycle the watch 60 times. Slip a finger nail just under the crown and gently, gently lift the crown to it's first position, it may take practice so be patient, once in it"s first position you can easily change the DATE, change it to 1 DATE before the DATE you want. NOW! push the stem back in and then pull it out to set the proper DATE and time of day, your watch is set and will change on time, around Mid Nite.

Pulsar (Seiko) Watch Changes Date at different time.

mcdevito75 here, The manufacturer recommends you don"t try to change the date between certain hours as this could hurt the date changeing mechanism inside the watch, I don"t think you did any harm (LUCKY) and the date changeing 45 minutes before mid nite is just about right. BUT! if the date change was aliitle closer to mid nite at 1 time you can try to reset the date, here"s how, your stem should have 2 positions to change the date without haveing to cycle the watch the 24 hours 60 times. Slip a finger nail just under the crown and gently, gently lift the crown to it:s first position, it may take a little practise but you"ll get it, once you do, trun the crown and you should see the DATE change, if so set the DATE to 1 DATE before the DATE you want, now pull the stem out and set the correct gate and time of day. Your watch is now reset and date will change on time, around nid nite.
