Screen flashes colors

The issue (flashes" colored screens) you're facing could be related to drivers and could be resolved by updating the display drivers. Without the correct driver, the hardware or device that you want to use won't work properly.
Also refer to:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/update-a-driver-for-hardware-that-isnt-working-properly
Let's try to boot the computer in low resolution mode and check the issue status.
Low resolution starts Windows using your current video driver and using low resolution and refresh rate settings. You can use this mode to reset your display settings.
Refer the section:
Enable low-resolution video (640×480)

Sounds like your power cord/charger got fried. Either that or the motherboard. Bring it to a pc shop and have them test the power cord/charger.

Getting black screen after booting screen after install of new card. . :(

hi im wesley iv had the same problem before with my compute. the problem might be i broken ide cable or a loose connection make sure the all cables in your pc is connected properly and if so change a few of the cables if it doesnt work you might have to get a new hard drive and also check if your cpu is in properly and not moving around at all then go into your bios and check the temprature pf the cpu and try running a health test from the bios it might be you fan isnt making proper connection with the cpu causing it to over heat and automaticall switching off for safety.

I bought my sansa yesterday and the screen isnt working, the buttons light up and its not recognized by me computer

Call sandisk tech support at 1-866-726-3474 or email support@SanDisk.com. I know I bought one of these as a refurbished unit and it came with no manual. They were very helpful when I had trouble with mine.
