Vizio flat screen tv screen goes all green (no picture) voice stays on picture comes back if I turn off the tv and turn it back on. Started when flipping thru channels now it goes green in the middle of a program and sometimes flips back to regular picture on its own

My first guess would be your t-con board. The t-con board is the one that transfers teh picture from your signal board to your screen. My second guess would be the siganl board is bad.
I w having this same issue when watching a Blu-Ray disc. I found it to be dependent upon what picture mode the TV was set to. By this I mean certain picture modes would cause the TV to dim during dark scenes of a movie. Changing the picture mode helped a lot.
