The first step here is to isolate the problem. You need to know if it is in your TV or DVR. Unplug your TV from the DVR and connect it directly to the wall outlet. Then connect a TV antenna, or a small thin wire, to the F connector on the back of the TV (this is the threaded connector - where you plug your cable). Try searching for some air channels and see if you get any channels at all, and post back.

wont come on
Hello Andy007...I tried the solution you suggested to try and isolate the problem. When I plugged the television directly into the wall, the tv made the "pinging" sound it used to make when the power was turned on. However, the on/off red indicator light was not on, and when I pressed the power button to see if I could get any response again, nothing happened..no sound or light. I unplugged and tried once more, and it made the initial ping noise again when I plugged in, but nothing afterward. -And of course COMCAST is already taking the stance that their product did NOT cause damage to my television. Thank you- MonicaP
Yes to all of the above.-As a matter of fact, I have taken the back off already, as I am ready to start the process of elimination. HOPEfully with your help, we can get to the bottom of the problem.
