Flashing light I have a NEC Electra Elite DTU 32d-1. On one of my phones, the feature button keeps flashing, and when you look at that extension from all of the other phones, it is flashing as if someone is holding on that line. I have tried unplugging the phone, pushing different feature options, and resetting the phone system. Nothing is working. Please help!!

When your're on a call, you press Conference, get internal dial tone, dial the extension you want or 9 plus the whole outside number you want, then press Conference again to tie the calls together. Some exts only have access to one call at a time, so if you can't make 2 calls at a time, this feature won't work.

First it needs to be done from the swithboard phone (Extension 100) port 1 or 2
1- Press Feature
2- Dial 9
3- Dial #
4- Dial Current time eg 03:29
5- Press Recall to toggle AM/PM
6- Press Hold to advance to the calendar
7- Press Recall to select the day of the week
8- Press # to move the cursor to the day of month setting
9- Enter the day by using the dial pad
10- Press Recall to select the month
11- Press # to move the cursor to the year setting
12- Enter the year by using the dial pad (only the last two digits are entered)
13- Press Feature
If only setting the time, press Feature after making the changes.

you need to subscribe to Caller Id from the phone company! If you already have it, it should work, otherwise I would check with your NEC contractor.

USE THE MENU BUTTON & LOOK AROUND . IT I AN ALARM OR STATION MESSAGE, CLEAR ALL OF THEM.

You should only have to hit Feature - Redial and then select the soft key that you wish to re-program. Typically you will then type 1 and then the extension you want to program.

you need to acces program mode and change 4-01 to assign ringing for the extensions you want to ring. ldtsnj.com

you need to remove ringing programming in 4-01 for that extension. ldtsnj.com

do you have VM on this system?

Have you tried the answer key by itself? Usually feature and answer turns it back off.
