Take it apart, wipe up any remaining water and let it air dry for 24hrs. Put it back tgether and see if it works. If it does you're lucky, if not start taking apart your wallet to fix it. HTH.

Why are the Keys on my axiom pro 61 not sending MIDI messages?

Does your keyboard have a "MIDI OUT" port? If yes, then
there is a selection to choose between USB or MIDI OUT port.
For my M-AUDIO oxygen 61 (silver), I must press the [Advanced] button then Note F3 on the music keys manual to toggle the MIDI-OUT.
If set to INT, it will not sent via USB. If set to USB it will not send via MIDI-OUT port. To use MIDI-OUT port I need external 12V DC adapter.

M-Audio MIDI Keyboard Controller's Loose USB Port

Open up and solder in a new Type-B USB socket. Get spare from any electronics parts supplier - it is a generic part. Just 4 solder points on PCB board.

Axiom 49 not detected by reason 5

Open preferences. Go to Control Surface tab.
Click Add. Select M-Audio as manufacturer.
Choose Axiom 49

Make sure the ports are set right.

Controls IN Port = Axiom 49 Hypercontrol In
Keyboard Port = Axiom 49 USB A In
Controls OUT Port = Axiom 49 Hypercontrol Out

if it hasn't detected yet then restart Reason.
Make sure the power on the Axiom is on.
If you still have issues the USB port on the Axiom could be bad.

Dear, The USB port on my M-Audio Axiom 61 MIDI controller keyboard has broke inside the board, it fell on the cable and the USB broke inside.. Is it possible to send me a new mainboard replacement...

You should be able to get a replacement part for that. Also depending on how tech savvy you are, might be able to open it up and resolder the USB port back onto the board. No idea of the cost of the part however, depends on the manufacturers part list.

My axiom 61 dont want to work anymore but it comes on says something about my usb connection

Where do you see the error about USB, on the Axiom display or on your computer? Can you give me the exact error? Is the Axiom connected directly into the computer or into a USB hub? (My Axiom 49 only works connected directly) Try restarting both the computer AND the Axiom with ONLY the Axiom plugged in.

I'm attempting to connect my new axiom pro 61 via Midi cables to my mbox2. To do this I understand I must rely on the power supply rather than USB. When plugging the axiom in to the wall it will not turn...

The AXIOM SHOULD turn on with just the wall wart adapter so you HAVE A PROBLEM.

First thing is to check the adapter that it is the correct one. It should be a 12 VDC 1 amp unit with positive center pin output.

Common adapters for pedals WILL NOT WORK.

Assuming you have the correct adapter, VERIFY the connector is plugged fully in the AXIOM.

Last two bass keys don't work.

you can carefully take the keyboard apart, and remove the keyboard, remove the attached circuait board (if applicable). then remove the rubber contact strip to access the contacts themselves. each key has an indivudual contact underneath it. the contact strip and contacts can be carefully cleaned with a pencil eraser tip dipped in rubbing alcohol, using seperate eraser tips for the contact strip and the contacts themselves, and changing out more eraser tips when they get dirty, if necesarry.

here is directions for cleaning contacts, it is for older model korgs, but the procedure should be fairly similar.
