PROBLEMS WITH THE BRAUN TASSIMO MACHINE AND T-DISCS

We put in T-disc for the Seatle's Best coffee, the T-disc basically explodes and there is coffee grounds all over. This does not happen when we use a different brand of T-Disc. We tried this with 3 of the Seattle's best coffee and everyone of the discs ended up the same way.

Wont heat or make coffee lights keep blinking

All lights flashing -

The machine is not prepared for use. Check water level, T-DISC.

Also try this link for the user manual:
http://www.scribd.com/doc/2421389/Braun-Tassimo-User-Guide

Another thing, try unplugging the machine; wait 5 minutes and plug back in.

Refer to the user guide for further diagnostics.

If you're still having problems contact customer support - number in user guide.

Braun Tassimo Machine willnot read the bar code on the T-discs

I have the same problem, I have been totally unable to clean the fog completely, instead I rub a tiny bit of cooking oil on it and it clears and will read barcodes again. Only a short term fix though.

Braun Tassimo 3107 or 3701

Yessir, you need a t-disc to use it, because the machine reads the bar code that is imprinted on the aluminum lid of the t-disc to get instructions of how hot the water should be, and how much water should be used for the beverage you're qnting to prepare. no t-disc, no drink, no working machine. it's that simple.

Tassimo one cup brewer

Try cleaning the peircing mechanism (and around it) and making sure it is sitting snug. Sometimes mine comes off when I lift the lid to add a t-disc and this can cause some problems including grinds in the cup.

You may need to get a new peircing mechanism from Braun - if you've only had it for a month they should replace it.

All lights flash

Try cleaning the light sensor that reads the barcode on the disk. If it is dirty, some of the discs won't work. Also, try holding the water canister down with your hand while the coffee is brewing. If the canister vibrates, the lights may blink.

Tassimo

Hi,
Have you tried using bottled water? I had the same problem and found that Spring water tasted the best.
