My sonic riders won't recongnize my wii remote.

Well i can tell u its not the game because i have it and it works fine . Have u ever tried with a different remote or re syncing it

Try reseting your wii

We had the same problem .
We solved it by "Unplugging" the Game cube Controllers that were connected to the Wii.

The trick is, you have to sync up the 2nd controller to the Wii before starting the game.

Turn on the Wii, there's a small cover below the DVD drive that you flip down, (This is also the spot where your SD Memory card can go) There's the red button.

Open the battery area of the 2nd Wii remote. You'll see a small red button.

Press both the red button the Wii Console & the Wii remote. Then it should turn on & Sync.

Once that's done, start the game. It will then recognize the 2 controllers.

You'll see 2 wii remote's on the main screen (1) & (2) Once that's sync'd your ready to play!

Well: first. press the home button then go down and click wii remote setting s then click disconnect wii remote then both of you press the 1 and 2 buttons until it recognizes your wii remotes.

We had the same problem. Turned out that if you have an original gamecube controller plugged in at the same time you are attempting to use the Wii remote it will only let you use the gamecube controller. Unplug the gamecube controller and you can now use the Wii remote. Or, you can choose to use the Gamecube controller. Both will work.

Press the "home" button (has a picture of a house on it) on the first Wii Remote and go into the controller options at the bottom of the screen. Select "disconnect remotes" or something like that and it will walk you through reconnecting. This may resolve your issue. Good luck!
