Rear Wirelss speaker do not work

The rear speakers on the Ht WX70 system have not work since. The receiver has been sent off and still nothing works. I have re-hooked up the speakers and reset the wireless according to the manual. The Blue LED light still will not turn on. What else can I do.

We have had this system for about three weeks and I have been very pleased with everything except the wireless rear speakeers. I have tried the troubleshooting tip with the "remain" button and the reset button on the speaker.

For someone who is not terribly electronic/computer smart, can you be a bit more specific about this reset procedure. I have tried this procedure several times and get no response. The red light on the speaker blinks when the reset button is pushed but then remains red and the base unit continues to flash "check rear speakers".

Am I supposed to be in a specific setting (HDMI, DVD, AUX, etc.) when this is done. Help Please !!!!!!!

With the main unit turned off, press and hold [REMAIN] on the home theater's remote for 4 seconds. (The REMAIN button is directly under the 7 button). Once held down for 4 seconds, the Volume Indicator on the main unit will turn on for 1 second. Release the [REMAIN].

Press the [RESET] on the back of the Wireless Receiver 2-3 times. The Standby/On LED on the front of the Wireless Receiver will blink 3 times

Turn on the main unit. The Link LED on the wireless receiver will light up if process is done correctly. The front of the main unit will no longer say REAR CHK and the rear speakers should now function correctly.

Turn the unit off hit the remain button on the remote then hit the reset on the satellite speaker receiver unit.
That's all there is to it.

I had the same problem. I just repeated the reset process until it worked one time. Have not had any problems with it (unless the dogs unplug it) since.

Instead of resetting rear speakers each time.....

I have found a similar problem with the rear speakers on this unit (needing to be reset each time the unit was turned off), but found a quicker way around it.....with both the main unit off and the rear receiver off: turn on the rear speaker receiver, then the main unit. If the blue light on the rear receiver does not come on, turn off the main unit, and turn it back on again. This has worked for me ~50 times or so and has worked repeatedly. It's faster than going through the reset phase each time. Also when turning off the system, turn off the main unit first, and then the rear receiver. Sometimes I also simply leave the rear receiver on since it pulls only 4 Watts. Hope this helps any users.....(it also works on my boyfriends older generation model).

How do i hook this up Samsung HT-WX70 Theater System with Wireless Speakers

1. Connect the front left, front right, center, and sub woofer speakers to the back of the home theater system.

2.
With the home theater system off, insert the TX card into the TX Card connection (WIRELESS) on the back of the home theater.
Important:
Make sure to insert the TX card with the slanted portion of the card facing left.

3. C
onnect the rear left and the rear right speakers to the back of the SWA-3000.

My main unit will not connect to the rear unit

I had a similar problem but mine cut out intermittently.
First, check to make sure the speakers are plugged in solidly. I was plugged into an outlet with a fancy cover and it caused the connection to short out intermittently.

2. Make sure all your wires are securely attached to the receiver unit.

3. If that doesn't work, try turning off the wirless speakers and the Home Theater system and then turn on both of them.

If one of these doesn't work, Samsung has chat support available onlline.

Good Luck!

I've found an RCA RT-2600 HT for $10. Receiver showed "overload", now won't power. It's also missing a rear speaker. Is the receiver fixable? If not, what receivers are compatible w/the subwoofer? ...

There may be a fuse inside the cover. I replaced the 2 front and 2 rears with pioneer S-HF21-lR 2 way,100 watters. they are bookshelf size speakers, but trust me they rock. you wont be disappointed. im pwering them with a sony receiver. no problem. if its a typical rca sub, its non powered and will work with about any receiver. System turns off by itself

My unit said "protection", "goodbye" so I opened it up and found a capacitor to one of the speakers had blown, right by the fan. It's a 35 cent part and a simple solder job. The hardest part was getting the face plate off the dvd tray so I could get to the circuit board.
