These units don't usually come with a fuse, the power line is directly connected to the power switch and from switch to the motor, the problem either is with the switches or the motor itself. Comment if you need any more clarification. Good luck

In the troubleshooting section of the manual, it says that if the power unit doesn't function the trouble may be that a fuse has blown in the power supply circuit. So I'm guessing there must be a fuse. I may have to take it to a repair center... but this particular unit is outrageously expensive just for them to look at. I wish companies would publish a schematic repair guide for situations when there are no authorized repair centers close by. Any other ideas?
We have a Bosch MCM 5200 Food Processor (same as MCM 5100... just has a couple of different accessories). The unit will not power even though the bowl and blender are locked into place. We are thinking it might need a new fuse. But after getting the bottom off (which was quite tough to figure out) we were unable to figure out where the fuse is located. One expert mentioned there is no fuse, but the troubleshooting guide suggests a blown fuse could be the reason for this type of problem... but how in the world to find it is a mystery to me.
Thanks for the info about the fuse... it's wierd that the owner's manual would suggest there is a fuse... go figure.
