It is plugged in, I get no on light, and it is not playing sound. The surge protector that I plugged it into, has power to it...it's the same one that the rest of the computer is plugged into.

sounds like the treadmill is drawing too many amps. try using a larger surge protector.

Have you tried plugging it in without the surge protector? I would wager that either a) the surge protector needs to be reset/turned on and off depending on the model or b) either your TV and/or surge protector have been damaged by the power surge.

Try plugging the TV straight into the outlet and see if that helps.

1. Check the power cord is plugged in properly by removing it and replacing it. 2. Try a different outlet on the surge protector.3. Most surge protectors have a reset button, try resetting it.
Is the sound bar the only device plugged into the surge protector?

Suggest you check the simple stuff first.

Not checking is akin to a car that won't start, and tearing apart the entire fuel system, only to find it was just out of gas.

1) Make sure the receptacle the surge protector is plugged into, has power. Surge protector Power On light should be lit.

2) Check THE receptacle in the surge protector, that the computer itself, is plugged into.
Have had a number of expense surge protectors, where just THAT receptacle was bad.

NOT!
Plug a table lamp, or similar device into THAT receptacle.
Make SURE it has power)

See if the problem is a $5 Power On switch, or the Power Supply.

By bypassing the Power On switch, you will be able to determine if the problem is the switch, or Power Supply.

Bad Power On switch.

Bypassing the Power On switch does Not turn the Power Supply on?
Bad Power Supply.

A jumper wire is used on the 20, or 24-pin ATX main power cable.
The jumper wire goes to the Soft Power On, (PS_ON. Green in color), to ANY Ground wire.
(ALL Black wires are Ground wires)
A MOMENTARY contact is used.

In order to guide you in this procedure, I need to know the computer manufacturer name, and Model Number.

On a desktop computer this will be located on the Back of the computer tower, (Next to the Windows product key), or up on the side of the tower.
Some models have it where there is a door you open in the front, and the product number, or model number is located there.

I have found more than once that One bad receptacle in the surge protector is bad.

"Hmmm, surge protector power on light is lit." "Monitor has power, amp for the speakers has power, and the router has power."
All plugged in to the same surge protector.

Tried a table lamp into the receptacle the computer was plugged into, Nothing.
Replace surge protector.

2) Bypass the Soft Power On of the Power Supply, and see if the problem is the Power On switch, or the Power Supply.

If you bypass the Soft Power On of the Power Supply, and the Power Supply comes on, the problem is a bad Power On switch.

If you bypass the Soft Power On of the Power Supply, and the Power Supply does Not come on, the problem is the Power Supply.

The STANDBY light will flash if the television detects an issue within the television. Some of these issues can be resolved simply by following the steps below to reset the television.
If the issue is still unresolved after following all of the troubleshooting steps, service may be required . Please note the number of times the STANDBY light flashes and relay that information to the service center.

1. Turn off the television. Unplug the television power cord from the electrical outlet.
   
2. Let the television remain without power for 60 seconds.
3. Plug the power cord back into the electrical outlet. NOTE: If the television is plugged into a power strip or surge protector, remove it from the power strip or surge protector and plug it directly into the wall outlet. If the issue is resolved, the problem is with the power strip or surge protector and not the television.
   
4. Turn on the television.

plug in a light into surge protector and see if it works if not surge protector is bad or battery is shot if it has one!!i have numerous surge protectors that went bad try plugging printer into wall outlet and if working its surge protector!!!

swap to another surge protector. if it still does it, it is a power surge at the outlet, if it does not, the Surge Proctector has worn out. have someone with the appropriate knowlege have a look at the outlet as well. older outlets especially tend to wear to the point where the plug literally falls out of the wall.

Did you have a power surge? Is it plug directly to the wall or a surge protector? The power adapter might have gotten damaged.

I suggest you unplug the set for about 15 minutes and then plug it in and try again. Sounds like you may have had a power surge/bump in the middle of the night. Althoguh you are using a surge protector, doesn'r mean the devise hooked to it can't lock up during a power surge.( Surge Protectors are an insurance policy only, not a garrentee ). If unplugging the set and waiting doesn't fix it, it will need to have the power supply section of the board repaired. Good Luck
