If you have not logged into your account since April 17th 2011, there is a separate page that you will HAVE to go to to re-enter your information. 2. If you had an account during the time of release of Call of Duty; Black ops II, and for what ever reason, your account was banned, then give it up. You're going to need to create either A, A new account, or B, a New system. At the time, there were so many cheaters, and boosters, that thousands of accounts were permanently banned. As well as systems being "Bricked". To answer your original question, you can NOT sign into Playstation network without having an account, or creating a new one. It is a requirment.

I suggest using a different email address to set up your account with. Obviously Paypal links the email address you are using with your previous account, so you'll need to change that.

Power On. Then press and hold until it shuts down again. Now press and hold the power button until you hear....1 beep..... then 2 beeps....release. This will put you in the service mode. Select option to reset system to factory settings.
