I have the same issue. I tried the reset button...but no luck. I checked Olympus' website for troubleshooting ideas but none of them address this issue. Has anybody tried calling the manufacturer?

I'm having the same problem. I think it's a setting that had to be accidently pushed. My 2 year old is constantly getting a hold of my camera. I can tell by the lack of answers that it's not easy to fix? By reading the rest, I think I need a different camera.

I have the same exact problem! I went to the camera store where i bought it from but they couldn't help me out..

    Has anyone found any solutions?

I have the same problem too! I can't seem to format the card or ANYTHING. I can't get to the settings... NOTHING. Just time and date. VERY ANNOYING. I too, think some sort of setting was accidentally pressed. Because now i even have big yellow numbers telling me how many photos I have left (which weren't there before this problem started).

    STILL no one knows anything?

Same here. Sounds like a glitch with the camera.

I finally figured it out!!! There is a button on the right-hand side of the camera, which switches it from normal mode to simple mode. Just press the button and everything goes back to the way it was...

I cant reformat my ibm pentium 4 where can i find the advance bios i press all the functions but icant see the advance bios

Try the below steps and I hope it'll work for you.

1) Shut down the operating system and turn off your computer.
2) Press and hold down the F1 key, and then turn on the computer.
3) When an IBM or other logo is displayed or if you hear repeating beeps, release the F1 key. The IBM BIOS Setup Utility will start.
4) Select "Start Options" from the first menu.
5) From the Start Options menu, press <Enter> on the top bullet labeled "Startup Sequence" (it is above all the other options). This brings up a new "Startup Sequence" menu.
6) Change boot order as needed using arrow keys.

Bought a Gateway model M465-E on Ebay only to find out the bios is pass-worded so I cant load Win XP because of The infamous "no hard drive error because of the Sata Driver, and i cant get to the...

I'm sorry but I don't know how to reset your BIOS. But to get around your problem, you should be able to enter the boot menu to boot to the optical drive to install your OS.

In order to access the boot options on this notebook computer, press the F10 key while the Gateway screen is displayed during the startup process. This opens a Boot menu with the option to start the computer to any of the available drives. Use the UP ARROW and DOWN ARROW keys to select a menu option, and then press the ENTER key to start to the selected device.

To "boot" (start) to a CD, DVD, or a floppy disk, the media must be in the drive when starting the computer.

Screen divided into 6, cant start normally. screen images so small that I cant read the recovery options.

OK at startup, press F8, and start the PC in SAFE mode... When at desktop start up "device manager", and remove the video card driver, and reboot.. hopefully this will "fix" your problem.
Also from SAFE mode you can choose standard VGA driver, and see if this works, if so, again it points to a driver issue.

Otherwise I think ya screen may be up for replacement.

I cant install a new operating system into my HDD. My setup does not suportt boot from CD.

The Bios Settings need to be changed to boot from The ATAPI drive. When you turn on computer press the F2 or F1 or Delete button, sometimes its F10. Once you are in the bios setting look for boot devices. Follow the on screen instructions to change the boot order. I hope this helps.

Need to put Pictures from Camera onto Memory Card

Hi there. Here is how you do it. Go into the menu and navigate to the Copy screen. Choose an option. One is to copy pictures from the camera's internal memory to the SD card, and the other is copy from the SD card to the camera's internal memory. Then press OK. On the next screen, you have two option choices, either copy all images, or selected images. Hope that helps.

Cant unlock a picture

If you want them to be permanently deleted you can format the memory card and this will clear the card of all data. If you just want these certain images deleted then you need to be in Playback mode - press the Menu button - go to Playback menu and press Ok - then choose the key option and turn it from ON to OFF. This will remove the lock and allow you to erase the selected image.
