Question about Yamaha RX-V661 Receiver
Just bought a yamha receiver RX-V661 7.1 and after conncecting all of the speakers I noticed two problems. 1. No display; I could get the radio, Dvd and Satellite TV to work with a little sound but no display light. 2. Back surround speakers no sound. I checked and rechecked all connection. I attempted the Auto Setup with the optimizer, but again no display lights and it stated Video monitor will display blah blah, What video monitor. Help
Try plugging a video monitor AKA your TV into that monitor output connector on the rear of the yamaha.
Select video in on the TV and see if anything shows up from the yamaha
Sounds though like the receiver has serious issues. If you can get your moeny back , do so
