Hello can not send or recieve text messages on our 9530 , everything else seems to work , the sim card is with telstra and its unlocked

Firstly to unlock blackberry storm , you have to make sure that you started unlocking with putting different sim card other than your network provider and check with your network provider about settings if you are using GSM network.

I think you entered wrong blackberry storm 9530 unlock code and your phone on hardlock state. You only have one option left to fix that, bring your blackberry phone to nearest local mobile repair shop and asking them to doing cable unlock. You will not need any blackberry unlock code again after that process.

seems like your phone is still locked, you get "sim card error" when phone is locked. You can try unlocking it yourself, to obtain unlock code you can call Verizon tech support, or you can buy an unlock code online from here.

u can change the sim or connection or go to message setting change the voice dial number of ur costumer service by asking to them they had its solution or update ur phone or reset all default settings

or contact your network sim card and ask them to send them to your phone so you can send recv text etc.

well it seems that the problem is with network you need to be with the network that solves your problem that is T-mobile...

get a T-mobile connection and transfer your mobile number to t-mobile...as AT&T tech support could not solve your problem its time to move ....you have tried every possible move yourself just go for better customer focused company

have you talked to your provider (like vodafone and telstra) and asked them if there is a certain setting that needs changing?
