Get a new machine. LG washing machines are ****. I have the same model and it has broken down and made horrible noises for years. It finally just stopped working. RIP

THE WASHER IS OBVIOUSLY HAVING A PROBLEM DETECTING THE WATER LEVEL? IT DETECTS AS FULL WHEN ITS NOT AND THEN GOES INTO DRAIN CYCLE? THE FILLS AGAIN? I would suspect the water pressure switch but if it was detecting a full cycle it would sent it into wash cycle? the water inlet valve only allows the amount of water it is told to send in and does not control the amount or drain cycle. Im not sure here but Im thinking maybe the water level switch may be flawed, the one that has low-medium and high? all these can be checked with a multimeter
Sorry but I do not know your particular machine BUT I would suggest as a first step that you clean the drain motor lint tray/filter. So many 'faults' are caused by blocked filters. The motor is unable to drain all of the water in the allotted time.
If you are unsure where the filter is, it is normally behind the front lower (kick) panel (or in some machines at the rear in an awkward position!) and held in by a round cover/knob.
REMOVE POWER AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE/RAGS TO SOAK UP THE WATER WHICH IS BOUND TO POUR OUT!
It's surprising what people have found in theirs! It is always worthwhile checking it on a regular basis.
Now- whilst the filter is removed it is normally possible to see the drain motor and ensure it is not jammed by a foreign object such as a needle or a toothpick. It should be able to be turned by hand/finger- the power IS OFF!
At this point it is also possible to test if the motor works. No clothes or water in the machine, select a spin cycle and put the power back on. You should be able to see the motor turning at some point, possibly straight away. If it doesn't work then the motor is malfunctioning!
Hope the filter is the problem and good luck!

Thanks for using FixYa. OE is a Drain Error which indicates that the water was not fully drained within 10 minutes. To start with check the drain pump filter for any clogs/foreign materials and try to clean the filter. Also if you have already checked the drain hose for any blockage then check the pump for any blockages, if still its not resolved then it seems to be the pump that has gone bad. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.
