When you disconnect your battery and then reconnect it again, it disables the radio. This is an anti-theft protection for your car radio.
The enable your radio the activation code is in your vehicle owner's manual. If you do not have this code you need to go to your Vauxhall service centre and get them to enter this code for you.

You must contact the car manufacturer yourself and give them serial number and they will help you out. Only you can do this because they check to see if you are actual owner

First make sure that the code has not been noted somewhere within the car (underneath the ash tray, glove box , rear of sun visor etc)
 
 
To see if your code is available here  for free then the radio will have to be removed from the dashboard (and if you are lucky, someone may have written the code on the casing ) .

Otherwise try your Main Dealer ...........or take it into a Decode Service who will plug in a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM). This takes a few minutes and shouldn`t be too expensive

there is now way u will get the code from any one but vauxhall as everyones is different 29.99 is the cost 4 a new security pass and they will put it into the radio 4 u
