Why is my hotpoint tcm570 tumble dryer leaving a puddle on the floor

Since no dryer I am aware of uses any liquid, I suggest you may be putting wet clothes into the dryer.
This can happen if the washer does not spin the clothes nearly dry. Many dryers have small holes in the dryer drum to let excess water flow out, I would guess that may be the case with yours.
Are your clothes nearly dry when they come out of the washer?
If not, perhaps the washer has a loose belt or has a problem with the "dry" cycle.
God bless your efforts.

PROBLEM WITH HOTPOINT WASHER DRYER - MODEL BWD 129-ON DRY CYCLE CLOTHES COME OUT STEAMING AND WET. PLEASE ADVISE

If the clothes are coming out hot and steaming, then the water from the clothes is not condensing, it could be a blocked condenser, which will have to be removed and unblocked and cleaned.
The other possibility is that there is no cold water coming in on the drying cycle, this can also have the same effect.
Hope this helps.

No heat, clothes do not dry

the model number that comes up is DLL2650BPL you could have a bad igniter, gas coils or sensor but the only way to tell is by reading them out with a meter the igniter part number is WE4X444 gas coils are part 5303931775 and the sensor is part WE4X448 you can go here to see parts
https://www.repairclinic.com/Shop-For-Parts/a8b95d49280/Model-DLL2650BPL-Hotpoint-Dryer-Parts
if you have heat at the beginning and then no heat it will be the gas coils but one of the coils still could be bad and not work at all but check all parts with meter before you start ordering parts you don't want to change out good parts.

My hotpoint vtd00 dryer seems to have stopped drying

Have you cleaned the exhaust ducting? The duct that runs from inside to outside. Try that first. Sounds like your exhaust line is blocked. Also with the filter out get a flash light and look down the venting if alot of lint vaccum out. NOTE: Unplug the unit, wheather gas or electric.....and if it is a gas shut off the gas to the dryer before moving just in case something gets loose while moving. Hope this helps.
