You probably need to replace the heating element. It is located behind the drum that the clothes spin in.

What does the flashing flow sensing arrow mean on a Kenmore Elite steam dryer front loading Mod-592??

The flashing flow sensing arrow on a Kenmore Elite steam dryer with the model number 592 typically indicates an issue with the dryer's airflow. This arrow symbol is associated with the dryer's flow sensing feature, which detects and monitors the airflow during the drying process.
When the arrow is flashing, it suggests that there may be a restriction or blockage in the dryer's vent system. This restriction can cause poor airflow, leading to longer drying times and potentially reduced drying performance.
To troubleshoot this issue, you can take the following steps:
  1. Check the dryer's lint filter: Make sure the lint filter is clean and free from debris. A clogged or dirty lint filter can restrict airflow.
  2. Inspect the venting system: Check the dryer's exhaust vent hose and ensure it is properly connected and not kinked or obstructed. Additionally, check the external vent to ensure it is clear of any debris or obstructions.
  3. Clean the venting system: If you haven't done so recently, it's recommended to clean the entire venting system. This involves disconnecting the dryer from the vent and thoroughly cleaning both the vent hose and the external vent.
If after performing these steps the issue persists and the arrow continues to flash, it may be necessary to contact a professional appliance technician or the manufacturer's customer support for further assistance. They will be able to provide specific troubleshooting steps and recommendations for your Kenmore Elite steam dryer model.

Check behind the dryer to make sure the tube running to the exit vent isn't clogged or blocked. Then go out side where the vent runs to and make sure it isn't clogged.

Kenmore elite model 11062952100 My dryer will not heat I replaced The thermal cutoff and high limit thermostat the dryer produce heat briefly but is not producing heat again.

There is a high limit switch (looks like a button with two wires hooked to it) on the bottom of the vent frame. When the vent fills up with lent at the bottom it gets hot. For safety, this limit switch will turn heat off. Remove the vent frame and clean it out and check the continuity of the switch. Also, make sure both heater elements are working properly.

Dryer runs for about 5 minutes then shuts off the clothes are hot

Your vent may be obstructed causing the dryer to trip, once it cools down it will reset itself. The way to see if thats the problem is to disconnect the vent and run the machine, if it doesn't shut off, you will need to clear the vent.

Kenmore Elite electric dryer 110-67032600 tumbles but won't heat

Could be the sensors on the side of the heat element sleeve or the heat element itself. You will need to unplug the unit and remove the back of the unit. The heat section is in the bottom left. There is a large tube hooked to it and you have to remove that first. You might then be able to get the wires of your volt meter in and check for continuity on both sensors and the heat element itself. The heat element wires come out toward the front of the sleeve. You will have to lay on the floor to do this so now is a good time to mop under the dryer. Or take it into the garage and remove the case and make it real easy. I am assuming that you have already checked to make sure the vent is clear? Just for giggles try running it without the vent hooked to the wall first and see if it heats up then. If not then go forward with the other things I said.

My Kenmore Elite dryer works except there is no heat to dry.I am looking for suggestions to repair. Thanks

There is a moister sensor in your dryer that detects any lint build up inside the exhaust vents. If any obstruction is inside the exhaust tubes this sensor will put the heat in the check mode. Inspect and clean thoroughly and see if it will heat up again

Kenmore elite , no heat

Check the following to address this issue.

1. No power to the dryer
Make sure there's power getting to the dryer. Check for tripped circuit breakers or blown fuses. An electric dryer uses two circuit breakers or fuses, and if only one of two is tripped or blown, the dryer might still run but not heat. Sometimes the power cord disconnects or burns at the dryer, if this is the case, the wiring and the terminal block must be repaired or replaced.

2. Heating element
A burned out heating element will show no continuity when measured with a meter. Replace the element if found defective.

3. Thermal fuse
Most dryers have a thermal fuse, which burns out when the dryer overheats, in which case the dryer will either not run at all or stop heating. The fuse is usually located on the vent duct, inside the dryer. A blown fuse will show no continuity when measured with a meter. Before replacing the fuse, make sure the blower wheel is not broken or clogged, and there is nothing blocking the venting.

I have a Kenmore Elite model # 11063032101. It

If exhaust is blocked or restricted from back of dryer to outside of home it will cause the dryer to over heat the high limit switch. Repeated overheating will weaken the over load switch and it will need to be replaced if normal operation can not resume without restriction. Sea Breeze
