No expresso coming out my krups superiore 894, water going straight to drip tray?

Hi,

Please make sure that your filter is cleaned out properly. Also, you can switch power outlets before attempting to make your espresso again.

Thank you.

I Descaled expresso maker and 4 reservoirs later, their is still an oily residue on top,of the water coming out. What do I do. I used DeLonghi expresso maker cleaner

white vinegar is a natural de-scaler (and cheaper than those specialist chemical cleaners) Lemon juice is a natural de-greaser, try a diluted solution then rinse it through with water. ;-)

Water leaking from underneath my delonghi ec330s

There could be a loose hose, or a hole. Try to call the number the expresso came with.

need to remove the back cover, which has a few screws in the bottom left corner is a round and white plastic device that is said meter. Disconnect hoses from it and open it. Clean it well and then close it and put in place. Should be fine!

We got a gagia expresso color machine recently. We used it for a week and now the machine is not is not dispensing expresso. The machine makes sound but no expresso comes out. The tank has enough water....

Your are propably need to prime the machine. This mean that air blocked in the machine and need to get out and fill all pipe system with water.
To do this you need to warm up the machine and turn the hot water knob so you will get one cup of hot water from the steam wand. After that try to get some water from the coffee head without any coffee in the filter handle. Now the machine is ready for coffee again. You will need to prime the machine very often so try to remember the procedure. This will happen again usually after you use the steam process and this normal for your machine.

I have a breville expresso maker. I can not figure out why the expresso is not coming out. The water and pressure go into the attached filter but it will not come out the spouts

I assume that the water is heating? If not the heater has gone and should be replaced.

If the water is heating, but is spilling over the filter, the seal has gone, these are cheap and not hard to replace.

If the pressure is escaping from the water filler, then the holes are blocked up. poke them free with a darning needle or similar.

When I try to make espresso with my new XP2070, water comes out through the steam arm and not through the nozzles. I've tried it without coffee and all the water still comes out through the steam/hot water...

David, the XP2070 won't operate properly until you've set the clock on the unit.

In case you don't have an owner's manual, I've attached a copy of the manual from the Krups site that you can download and print for free.

Please take some time to reaquaint yourself with the setup and procedure for using the expresso portion of the unit, as you might just have some sequence issues that is preventing the expresso from getting brewed.

Otherwise, it could be that the unit has a faulty seal in the pressure vessel that isn't allowing the expresso side to function properly, hence the reason the water might be coming out of the frothing tube instead of through the expresso brewing section.

Water problem with Expresso maker

Well as i dont know what machine you have I will give you a generic troule shooting for manual esspresso machines.

first if the steam is working one can make the assumption that the way from the watertank to the bioler is ok.

that leaves us with the handle the filter you put your grindend beans in. Or the filter on the machine.

So first trie and see if it comes out water when you dont have on the handle with the espresson filter.

Will water not come even with the handle off? then its the fitler in the machine. trie and remove it and clean it or trie and descale it and force water through the espresso exit.

Will the water come out just fine with the filter and handle off?
then its those two things.
Trie and put the filter in alitle descaling for a couple of hours and the clean it "extremly" good.
