5022 manual

If you mean the Vivitar 5022 then you may download a free manual at http://www.vivitar.com/files_products/310/ViviCam5022.pdf

The slide switch is the macro/normal switch. The flower position is for macro (taking pictures of things close to the camera). The mountain position is for normal pictures.

I have a vivitar vivicam 5022 and i lost the disk to download it to my computer. what can i do?

You can request the software by going to
http://www.vivitar.com/products/1/digital-cameras/310/vivicam-5022
and clicking on the "Vivitar Experience Software" in the lower right.

You might want to consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

How do i turn on the flash on my vivitar 5022?

Make sure you're not in the macro mode. There's a slide switch on the end of the camera, near the SD card slot. Set this switch to the mountain position.
Also bear in mind that the flash is for still pictures only, not for videos.

How do i turn on the flash? vivitar vivicam 5022

Their is a button on there that looks like a lightning bolt. Push that button until the third icon on the screen is a lightning bolt with an 'A' in the corner. Take a picture and it should flash.

How do I use vivitar 5022? No manual came with it.

I think the W stands for Wide angle & T stands for telephoto. That is the zoom.
