Do this... run connect to it with a network cable, The follow along.
START >> Run >> type in "CMD" with no quotes then at the black box enter "ipconfig" omit the quotes look at the gateway address as this will be your routers IP

Are you trying to install the router.
You can do it manually without the CD.
Make sure that your computer is able to go online through the modem.
If your computer is able to go online through the modem
Then you need to connect the computer to the router ad the modem to the router.
open the set up page of the router and change the settings of the router according to the ISP.

192.168.254.254 is the default IP address of Efficient Networks Speedstream 2623 router.

Default password to login is 'admin'.

re-configured it the router then try it

To access the SpeedStream 2623 management interface:
1. Open your Web browser and enter the SpeedStream IP address http://192.168.254.254 in the browser Address box. The SpeedStream 2623 will automatically switch to port 88 for management access.
2. On the Login Screen, enter admin in the Password box; then click Login to display the Status screen of the management interface.



3. Under Simple Setup , go to Wireless Settings - take note of the SSID (this is the name of your wireless network). By default the SSID is "SpeedStream".

4. Still under Simple Setup , go to Wireless Encryption:


Option 1:
A. On the Simple Setup > Wireless Encryption screen, select Automatically.
B. Enter a password or password phrase.
C. Click Generate.
D. Take note of Key 1. This is the key that you will have to use on the Wii to connect wirelessly.
E. Save Settings and Continue.

Option 2:
1. On the Simple Setup | Wireless Encryption screen, select Manually.
2. Enter a password or password phrase.
3. In the bottom half of the screen, select #1.
4. Enter five hexadecimal keys; e.g., a number or letter in the range of 0-9 or A-F.
5. Click Enter to save settings and continue.

You're done with the router. Go to the wireless settings of your Wii and configure it to connect to your wireless network. For a step by step instruction go to this site:

it could be possible that the router is just not in sync with the modem. you can try to power cycle the devices first by turning them off. then turn on your modem first, wait for all the necessary lights to turn on, then the router and then the computers. check if you'll be able to connect to the internet again. if not, you may need to access the router's page to check if it's properly configured or not.

Setting up wireless security(WEP) on a Speedstream 2326 Wireless ADSL Router

-Open your browser and enter the IP address of your Speedstream 2623 router(by default its 192.168.254.2534)
-On the login screen, enter "admin" in the password box rgeb click login and you'll be brought to the management interface of your router.
-Go to Simple Setup and look for wireless encryption, select "manually."
-You can either enter a passphrase so that the router will generate a random WEP key or you can select #1 and key in your personal 10 digit WEP key(note; it will only accept hexadecimal character 0-9 and letters A to F).

Important Reminder: If you will set up encryption on a wireless computer, the connection will be lost and you need to re-associate to the routter and it will prompt you to enter the encryption that you have configured earlier(it will be beneficial if you will print the settings of your router for reference) that's why it is recommnended that you use a computer wired to the router when changing the settings.
